Federico, known as Freddy to our climbers, is the Human Resources Manager and a founding member of Aconcagua Mountain Guides, with over 35 years of experience in mountain environments. His career spans every aspect of expedition planning and leadership. He has worked as a Mountain Guide, Base Camp Manager, and team leader, always upholding the highest standards and supporting climbers with the professionalism they deserve.
He scouts, recruits, and manages high-altitude teams, making sure the right people are on each expedition. He oversees AMG’s guides, basecamp staff, and porters, helping them handle the challenges of Aconcagua’s harsh and unpredictable environment with a sharp sense of team dynamics and strategy.
Freddy has traveled widely across Latin America, mixing mountaineering expeditions with jungle adventures. Off the mountain, he writes and manages AMG’s social media, bringing the spirit of the climb to a wider audience.
