Carlos, better known as Charly, serves as the Operations Manager at AMG, overseeing a diverse range of responsibilities. His primary duties are the procurement and management of company assets necessary to operate our climbing expeditions. This includes 170 mules and feed for our ranch at the entrance of the Park, all base camp tents, solar and cooking equipment, and temporary structures such as shower tents and toilets.
Charly’s incredible work has produced the best camps on the mountain. He is truly a genius at selecting the right equipment and coordinating staff teams to build tent structures as high as 6,000 meters (20,000 ft) for our climbers. His method is “lead by example,” as he works alongside his team in all places with boundless enthusiasm.
A devoted father of two, he dedicates his free time to his family and actively participates in community service.
