Sebastián Santamaría
Sebastian Santamaria, originally from Buenos Aires, moved to Mendoza at 27 seeking adventure. He completed a Physical Education Teaching program but wanted more, so he studied further to become a guide. Over the past 7 years, Sebastian has immersed himself in mountaineering, primarily within the mountains around the province ofMendoza. With numerous mountain projects in mind, particularly those involving glacier exploration, he has polished his skills and deepened his understanding of alpine environments.
Currently, Sebastian is actively pursuing additional qualifications to transition into the role of a Lead Mountain Guide, recognizing the importance of ongoing education and training in ensuring the safety and satisfaction of his clients amidst the challenges of high-altitude excursions.
