Daniela Höffers
Daniela, originally from Germany, began her climbing journey in 2016 in the Ecuadorian Andes, where she summited Chimborazo and Cotopaxi and developed a lasting connection with high-altitude mountaineering. After multiple expeditions across the Andes of Ecuador, Peru, and Bolivia, she relocated to Mendoza in 2020 to fully commit to life in the mountains.
In the years that followed, she entered guiding school and continued building experience on higher peaks in the Mendoza region, while also expanding her technical skills in ice and traditional rock climbing. Bolivia’s glaciated summits remain a central focus of her climbing, with several expeditions to the region. She is equally drawn to long traverses across less-traveled areas of the Mendoza Andes, where exploration and route finding play a key role in her approach to the mountains.
