Hernán Ríos

Hernán was born in the province of Buenos Aires and developed a passion for traveling, exploring, and climbing from an early age. He began his career as a porter in Mendoza in 2005 while pursuing certification as a Lead Guide from the Argentine Association of Mountain Guides (AAGM). He has worked as both a guide and porter in the Cordón del Plata and Aconcagua Provincial Park. Hernán also works as a ski instructor and rock and ice climber. He maintains his passion for climbing year round in Argentina, Chile, Spain, Italy, and France. Among his achievements, he has completed some of the most challenging routes in the Andes. Hernán is recognized as one of the top lead guides on Aconcagua, valued for his professionalism and dedication to sharing the mountain experience with others.
