Agustín Coppini
Agustín began rock climbing at 20 as a hobby, later turning it into a profession by earning his mountain guide certification. He has undertaken climbs and expeditions on Aconcagua and in its neighboring valleys, including Matienzo, Tupungato, and Vallecitos, with peaks above 5,000 m and 6,000 m. Agustín has also completed technical climbs in Patagonia and in international destinations such as Alaska, Canada, Europe, and Nepal. Notable accomplishments include big wall climbing in Yosemite and winter climbs in Siberia.
Currently, Agustín lives year-round in a small mountain town in southern Mendoza, Argentina, dedicating his summers to leading expeditions on Aconcagua. Throughout the year, he practices ice and alpine climbing, packrafting, and explores remote areas far from human presence.
