ACONCAGUA CLIMBING OUTFITTER SERVICES

Successful guiding and climbing operations on Aconcagua require excellent logistical services. At a minimum, all groups need transportation from Mendoza to the entrance of Aconcagua Provincial Park, and mule services to help carry gear back and forth to Base Camps. AMG offers both of these services to other outfitters operating on Aconcagua, plus many more. Some of these services include: airport pickups, hotel reservations, food purchasing, packing for mule transport, and year-round gear storage in Mendoza, at the entrance of the Park, and in our Base Camps. AMG can also provide excellent guides to lead or assist your climbs, as well as experienced porters to carry your gear. Whatever your needs, AMG can help accommodate you.

DIFFERENT OPERATING METHODS

We work with many Aconcagua climbing and guiding services, as well as adventure companies from around the world, providing different levels of support and designing programs that best fit our Aconcagua climbing outfitting clients’ needs. To better understand this process, we have provided a couple of examples of how different companies partner with AMG.

Full Service: A number of outfitters simply send one guide to represent their company. With our full-service program, we provide full logistical support in Mendoza and on the mountain (including additional mountain guides as needed) so that clients do not need to transport gear to Argentina, purchase and pack food, or make numerous reservations. We offer a fixed price with this full service, and have a range of hotels for our clients to choose from in Mendoza. We can also design menus based on your budget.

Selecting Services: Some Aconcagua climbing outfitters bring their own food, equipment, and guides. For these clients, we provide all other services (we will supply a simple check-list of services offered), plus have staff available to help purchase additional local products and pack everything safely for mule transport. We also provide year-round storage for outfitter’s our client’s gear to save on future costs of transporting gear back and forth from their home country.

PARTNERING WITH AMG

AMG is available to work with clients in a variety of ways. We are happy to partner with you by having your climbers join our scheduled departures or make all arrangements for your private groups and teams. Some outfitters have their own private trips as well as offering AMG’s departures. This makes it convenient for clients who can’t attend one of your trip dates. Either combination is fine in that we look to serve you and your needs.

AMG’s promise is to have all services that you’ve requested ready for you upon arrival in Mendoza, and if additional services are required anytime throughout your climb, we can quickly accommodate your needs. Our communication network connects all camps on the mountain to our Base Camps, Los Puquios Depot, at the entrance of the park and our offices in Mendoza.

To the right is a list of services we offer. Please contact us at info@aconcaguamg.com and we can price each service individually or as a package. You can also read more about our individual services on our climber services page.
